It's the thought that counts...

I've talked about my (former) roommate Ann Claire a few times before. She is one of the most precious friends I have. And this little post in her honor is all in good fun.

Yesterday her husband of almost one year turned 30. She made a pan of lasagna and a cake to celebrate with his family and her's. Ann Claire is a lot of things...she's funny, in her own little way; she's got more patience than I could ever dream of having; and she has a heart of gold.

One thing she might need to work on his her baking skills. She attempted her first layer cake for Will, her husband. Here is how it turned out. I can't stop laughing at it. Mainly because of how well I know Ann Claire. But still. It looks like a life-sized Oreo that drowned in a chocolate lake.



It's the thought that counts. I know it tasted delicious. A for effort!
